Ivy Linwood
Storyteller, dreamer, and keeper of the hearth flame.
Beneath the name Ivy Linwood is a quiet love for the timeless things — books that feel like home, the scent of tea and parchment, and the way stories have always been a kind of magic.
Ivy writes gentle, heartwarming tales inspired by the rhythms of nature, the changing of the seasons, and the small acts of care that turn a house into a home. Her work celebrates the ordinary enchantments of daily life — the hum of the kettle, the flicker of candlelight, the way kindness lingers like warmth on the air.
Her stories, including The Little Hearthwitch and Yuletide Gifts, are born from the belief that children (and grown-ups, too) need stories that soothe the spirit — tales that remind us of light, love, and belonging.
When she’s not writing, Ivy can often be found tending her garden, watching the seasons turn, or walking with her corgi, Duchess, who occasionally appears in her stories as herself.
“Stories are a kind of hearthfire — they don’t just warm us, they invite us to gather close.”
